How to search for events and people
Find events, mini clips, people, and contributors by name or keyword.
You need to be signed in to do this.

Click Search in the menu.

Type a word: an event name, a category like "Wedding", a keyword, or a person's name. Click Search.
Tip: Press / on the page to jump to the search box, and Esc to clear it.

Results are grouped into events, People, Contributors, and Contributed photos & video. Click ▶ Play or Read about it on an event, or open a person to see the events they appear in.

Search by when it happened, too: type a year ("1998"), a decade ("1990s"), a month ("July") or a date ("7/4"). Choose Event date in the sort list to put them in date order.
Tip: Words spoken in videos that have captions are found as well.
